8th East Asia Symposium on Functional Dyes and Advanced Materials (EAS8) is to be held at CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India on 20-22 September 2017. The symposium covers all aspects of Functional Dyes and related Advanced Materials. EAS8 belongs to the series of biennial symposia previously organized in Japan (2003, 2009, 2015), Taipei (2005), Korea (2007), and China (2011, 2013).

The symposium is organised by CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
